 Employee Assistance Programs are preventative, employer-sponsored services designed to assist employees and their families in addressing both workplace and personal problems before they affect workforce productivity.

As the North Georgia EAPA Chapter, we work to promote professionalism and the highest ethical standards among our members in the delivery of employee assistance services to clients and customers. We also support the development and expansion of employee assistance programs in our communities and State by sharing our expertise and knowledge of the field with businesses, organized labor, and other associations.

 

 

Benefits of EAP 

EAPs are designed to bring responsiveness, resources and expertise to members in need. A few ways EA Programs can benefit your organization include:
  • Assisting supervisors and managers in effectively managing employees who are experiencing work-life problems;
  • Offering alternatives to termination, saving recruiting, re-hiring and retaining costs;
  • Quickly assessing and directing employees to services for problems impacting their job performance;
